Joomla contains an email cloaking plugin, formerly called mambots. This plugin converts emails that you embed in your Joomla content into Javascript that should foil the majority of email harvesting spam bots.

The problem is if you associate an email (mailto) link with an image it all goes pear-shaped and when a user clicks on the image the To: field in their email editor is filled with Javascript!

To solve this problem we edited mosemailcloak.php (in the /mambots/content folder) and added code that spots an image link and replaces it correctly.
